Under 18, Florida requires DETS before a learner's permit. 18 and older getting a first license, it's TLSAE.

All of our courses are completed entirely online: the Basic Driver Improvement (BDI) course, the 8-Hour Intermediate course, the 12-Hour ADI course, TLSAE, DETS, the Driver's Permit Test, and the Practice Permit Test. See the course cards above, or call us and we'll help you find the right one.
Sometimes a court orders attendance directly. In other cases, completing an eligible course may help keep a citation from being reported as points on your driving record, depending on your court and FLHSMV's rules for your specific case — check your citation or court paperwork to confirm your eligibility. Some insurance companies also offer discounts after a completed course, though that varies by insurer. Beyond the paperwork, the material is designed to make you a more aware, lower-risk driver.
Our online courses are self-paced — no one is watching over your shoulder. You can move as quickly or slowly as you like, log in and out as many times as you need, and there's no maximum time limit. Course length varies; most run from 4 to 12 hours of material depending on which course you take.
Your original certificate is mailed directly from our office, which typically takes 5-10 business days; expedited mailing is available. We can also email a secure copy of your certificate for a small fee. A few courses may have slightly different delivery details, which are explained clearly during that course.
Yes. You can start the course at home, work, a library, or on a friend's computer, and pick up where you left off on a different device — all you need is an internet connection and a modern web browser.
No. Our online courses are designed for people without a lot of free time in one block. The system saves your progress by section, so you can log off and pick up again later, or complete it all in one sitting if you prefer.
Registration is simple — scroll up to the course you need and use its Register button, or call us, 7 days a week, and we'll register you over the phone.
You can pay by credit card through our secure, encrypted registration page after you fill out the registration form.
That's fine — an email address is not required to take our courses. Just select the no-email option on the registration form, or use a family member's email if you have one available. Call us with any questions.
Use the username and password you were given at registration to log back in as many times as you need. If you've lost them, call us during business hours, or email us, and we'll help you back in.
Contact the court or agency that assigned your course for instructions on extending your due date — we're not able to extend a due date set by the court or FLHSMV.
Not a problem. Your progress is saved as you complete each section, so a dropped connection will only send you back to the start of the section you were on, not the ones you already finished.
